Review on Fintie Keyboard Supports Pencil Charging Tablet Accessories by Cho Screeton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent quality - tablet accessories

Have been using this keyboard for a few weeks now. It pairs easily with the iPad Pro. I use it for several hours every day and have never charged it. I think the battery lasts forever as other reviewers claim. This case is $130 cheaper than the Apple keyboard case, but it's almost twice the weight. I've used both and there are some major differences. Fintie is a smaller regular keyboard. The keys are a bit cramped but look like a regular keyboard. I had no problems typing. The Apple keys are spaced and slightly concave, making them very comfortable for the fingers. I type faster on this keyboard. The leather sleeve itself is almost as heavy as an iPad. But it does have corner bump protection, unlike Apple's case. The bumpers keep it going; Apple is based on magnets. When you pick up the iPad, gravity will keep it on the Fintie case and a strong impact may cause it to slide off. The Apple case has a strong magnet and is very difficult to move even if you try to fold it. I love that the Fintie case has a holder for my pen when I'm on the go and that it supports wireless charging when I'm using it. The Apple case only allows you to attach the pencil from the top and does not offer travel protection. My biggest annoyance with the Fintie keyboard is that you had to manually move it forward/backward to open/close the case. I was also annoyed that the keyboard was still active when you closed the iPad so that you only see the screen, which is why I had a few incorrect entries. The Apple case still leaves the keys open, but turns off when the keys are facing out. If you don't mind the extra weight and bulk, this is a great case!
