Review on πŸ”’ Greater Goods Digital Bathroom Body Scale 2021: Accurate Weight and Body Composition Measurement Up to 400 Lb or 180 Kg - Ash Grey Stainless by Steven Dahl

Totally inaccurate scale

I've been using this scale for a while now and just recently found an old mechanical scale that I've kept that has been certified. The Greater Goods (GG) scale is terrible when it comes to accuracy. It ranges from plus 1 to plus 5 pounds of actual weight. Worse, the only real reason to have all the extra information like BMI, % muscle mass, bone density, etc. is to assess your progress and health. None of these GG measurements are accurate, if only because they all "fertilize" each other. In other words, if you weigh yourself after a good drink and before bed, that's probably when you'll weigh the most. The scale, in turn, changes your muscle mass, bone density, and so on. Okay, but what if you track the same metrics at the same time every day, right after you wake up? They change all the time and not by a small amount. I'm a weightlifter and I've gained a lot of muscle mass this year and my GG muscle mass values are declining. Bone density decreases. For real? This scale is practically useless. It's not even good for capturing base weight, as I have to step on it up to a dozen times for it to suddenly register what my certified mechanical scale has already told me. It will show 185, 185, 185 and then 179.5. save your money
