I bought it in June 2019 and have had it for over a year now. My son (3 years old) has stepped on, dropped and thrown it and I still have a great iPad that works, not a single scratch as far as I can tell. For some reason this case is a miracle. While we're still learning that expensive toys shouldn't be mistreated, this case was a lifesaver for the baby. It is easy to use and particularly easy to carry. Sometimes he even threw him down the steps instead of carrying him down and he survived. Now I can never personally guarantee you that you will get the same results, but as far as I can tell it was 100% worth the money we spent and it took over a year of chaos. The little ones don't always understand how expensive things are. We can only teach them respect for these things. But that doesn't mean they won't test their limits to see what they're capable of, and this case passes the test!
