This just says I have an epilator on my legs because I didn't use a trimmer or razor. Yes, it obviously hurts because it's pulling out hair! Anyone who says it's not Yuro is either lying, loves pain, or has a high pain threshold. BUT I will say that pulling the skin/fat in the opposite direction while using the epilator helps. Stretch it as much as possible and it will be easier to use. After some time of use it is somewhat tolerable. What really helps is using it when you are in or before the thorn stage. It really removes the tiny hairs that wax doesn't remove. If you use it on longer hair, it will hurt like a mother! If you really can't stand it, maybe try some local anesthetic cream? I hate shaving because I always get red bumps and cuts. My skin is too sensitive to shave. I really like that I don't have to spend money on hair removal. It's been about a week and so far my legs are still smooth. As soon as I feel a little prickly, I'll use an epilator to control any hair. The only downside to this machine is the battery life. It takes me longer to use it so I have to stop, charge it and keep going. My next areas to try are my armpits and pubic area. Wish me luck.
