This is the best scalp psoriasis shampoo I have found. I have tried Head & Shoulders, Selsun Blue, Coal Tar Shampoo and even Rx Medicated Shampoo and none of them helped much. A friend recommended this horse shampoo to me and I was a bit skeptical. But I was unhappy and desperately trying to get rid of the psoriasis on my head so I decided to give it a try. I don't dilute it. I use straight from the bottle. The consistency is the same as regular shampoo. The smell is not strong but pleasant. I leave the mousse on my hair for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off. She calms down immediately. After the first application, the scalp did not itch or hurt. I have been washing my hair every day for 3 weeks and my psoriasis has improved a lot. It didn't go away completely, but the plaques didn't stay as thick and got much smaller. Some areas have been completely cleared. My hair is healthier than ever. The shampoo detangles tangles so if you have long hair this is a plus. I have short hair, it's soft and shiny. I went for a haircut a few days ago and my stylist commented on my hair and scalp. I didn't use hair conditioner. I recommend it to anyone with scalp psoriasis. Don't be afraid to try it, I plan to keep using it.
