After reading the reviews I was hesitant to take it but I got it anyway. This review might be a bit premature when I received it. The first thing I did was wash and dry her because people said she was sticky and torn. For me it is not. I washed on the gentle cycle and periodically paused the wash cycle to make sure the agitator wasn't dragging. The fabric is really soft, light weight, otherwise delicate and thin which is great. When the program was over I pulled it out, shook it and put it back in for an extra spin. It was practically dry so I turned the dryer on low and tumble dried it. Checked and shaken out every 6 minutes or so. The blanket came out fine. He was plush and full. I think if you just throw it away and wash it without bothering then yes I can see the problems but if you put in enough effort to care then it's fine and a very pretty reversal for a simple look.
