Remote won't connect to LG K51 =(

Even after changing the battery, the remote won't connect to bluetooth on my LG K51. I'm not sure if there should be an indicator light on the remote to indicate activity, but I don't notice any physical feedback from the remote itself. I was able to connect the remote.

Pros
