Perfect stylish heavy coat; and surprisingly, even though the material is thick and heavy, I was able to tie it around my waist because I was getting too hot! The fit was perfect! I have a large chest and there was room to fasten buttons and the belt allowed me to pull the coat snugly around my waist. Very flattering for the figure! I think I look slimmer in a coat! It soaked up quite a bit of water in heavy rain, but never advertised that it was waterproof or a raincoat. The review gave me an opportunity to estimate the length just to the top of the thigh, but this coat can be just above the knees.
