Review on 🧴 Shea Moisture Restorative Shampoo with Raw Shea Butter - 13oz; Conditioner Bundle - 13oz by Mary Reed

I really wanted to fall in love with this set. I used another brand that I really love, but at $20 for a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, it was out of my budget. So I decided to find a similar set without spending a lot of money. I did a lot of research because I'm pregnant, breastfeeding, and generally hate using toxic products. Shea Moisture has a very low EWG rating (which is good) and I liked the lack of toxins and short list of ingredients in their products. After my first try: The shampoo and conditioner have a very strong odor. It's not a bad smell, just a very strong masculine cologne scent that stunned me. So much so that I got a headache after showering. This is my second time using it and the smell didn't bother me that much but it was still very noticeable. My hair is very soft, shiny and combable. My husband agreed it was a strong scent but he liked the masculine scent. It didn't take much to clean my hair compared to other products and there is foam but don't expect a lot of foam, this is a sulfate free product and sulfates cause foam. For now I will continue to use it but I am not sure I will order again. I washed my hair almost 24 hours ago, it's dry and still smells like cologne.
