Review on North Face Canyonwall Gloves Black by Cameron Novak

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great, but with temperatures ABOVE 35 degrees and light wind.

LOCATION: HoustonPROS:1. Great pair of gloves. They fit well but are a bit big. I have a small.2. Good material and looks good.3. Compatible with iPhone touch. CONS: 1. Ineffective in 1930's weather. I'm here in Houston where the weather can range from 30 to 100 degrees. Our winters are mostly in the 40's and 70's with some days when the temperature is below 40 degrees. I was wearing these gloves when the weather app said it was around 37 degrees. My hands were still cold but the gloves definitely helped. 2. Not windproof. I wore these gloves when the weather app was at 14mph. While these gloves protected against the wind, my hands were still cold. I think the reason is that the fleece parts of the gloves let the wind in. SUMMARY: These gloves do well in moderate cold from 35 to 50 degrees depending on what you're doing and how strong the wind is. I need more protection in my gloves so I took them and bought MEN'S APEX+ ETIP The North Face GLOVES. In contrast to the partially covered Canyonwall, it is completely covered with windproof material and thermally insulated. It also has Etipped so you can use your touchscreen phone.
