it arrived early and arrived exactly as expected. Well, like most electric blankets, the softness is different. If you expect plush, velvety softness, you need to buy the Sherpa electric blanket. This is a normal, good litter size. It looks the same as in the picture. It has an auto shut off and works great (I'm using it at the time of writing this review). The only complaint I have is that the cord is at the bottom of the duvet and not easy to reach. It easily tangles with my laptop cord. Last night I fell asleep under this blanket watching Hulu on my laptop and when I woke up my ceiling cord was tangled around me and the blanket and my laptop were on the floor. So be careful where you connect it.
