Very soft material. Material is breathable but just heavy enough to hang well or fit nicely. I got the light purple, which I would describe as lavender. Very nice. This top could be worn on its own or in layers.Loved it so much I bought another one. The size is true to size. I was not sure what size to order as I have always worn xlarge and 2xlarge. But I lost a lot of weight and now wear large and some mediums. This fit perfectly. Not to tight or too loose.
