I have tried many ergonomic memory foam pillows. I like this one because it's durable and supports my neck and shoulders. One thing I've noticed about memory foam is that the temperature outside and inside my home affects the pillow's performance. If it is too cold, the pillow becomes firmer, if it is too hot, the pillow becomes softer. This pillow is firm yet soft to the touch. If you are not used to memory foam or a firmer pillow, this pillow may be too firm for you. Like most memory foam pillows, this pillow sags a little when you lie on it. This means it can take the shape of your neck. It also makes a difference in the height of the pillow you get depending on whether it's useful to you. I have one that is 4 inches high on one side because I know from experience that it's good for me. Some like the 5 inch height, some sleep on the bottom of the pillow. I sleep on my side and this pillow works great.
