It's not often that you find a product that is as well designed and built as most Apple products, for example. After reading many reviews about it I decided to give it a try as we needed under cabinet lighting for a while. Great solution - we love this addition to the kitchen! Installing the 5 light set in our kitchen was pretty easy for the most part. I ended up needing *two* additional 108" patch cords to connect the sink/window and exhaust area. I've made an effort to route the cables out of sight, including positioning the power supply over (and inside) the hood cabinet. The cabinets have a front panel which makes it easy to hide the connecting wires between the light bars in the chain. The quality of all materials supplied was excellent. However, there is some mystery as to the *quantity* of some of the parts supplied, at least for our set of 5 lamps . Please note that each 9" lightbar is secured with 2 mounting clips and the total number of lamps in the system is limited to 5 (per product support). However, the kit includes 16 light bar mounting clips, leaving you with 6 clips left. No wonder there is some confusion over the ability to add additional light strips! At the same time, it's easy to run out of the 20 included cable clips, especially when installing long connector cables (which, by the way, don't come with cable clips). I'd rather have 6 more wire clips than the rest of the light strip clips. It would also be nice if B+D/PureOptics would supply additional cables in different lengths, which are either included in the scope of delivery or available as an optional accessory. In addition to the existing accessory lengths 108", 30", 24" and 12", let's say the lengths 48", 36", 18", 9". Cleanliness is important, especially when you are modifying an expensive kitchen!
