The sunglasses organizer has been on the road for about a week. I was happy to finally get it as my sunglasses were lying around everywhere. I saw the need for this organizer a long time ago but was too lazy to order it. I really wish I had ordered this sooner. The base is made of thick felt and the sunglass holder is made of plastic. There is an opening on each side so you can put on or take off your sunglasses from either side. They contain thick leather thread so you can thread a loop through the top holes so you can hang the organizer. This wasn't a problem as I had to unplug and plug in the hook. It was actually smaller but includes the organizer with all the sunglasses inserted. I hung it on the wall in my closet next to my jewelry organizer. I really like this simple but useful organizer.
