After using 3 different NVR/DVR systems, this Zosi 4 camera DVR proved to be the easiest to set up and operate. This model does not include a hard drive, so you will need your own to install it. Any drive from 1TB to 4TB will do, I have a 1.5TB Seagate drive installed on my drive. The instructions are the best and most concise I've seen in the Far East and the Zosi View smartphone app is also very easy to set up. The body of the camera is metal and strong enough, with adjustable covers and about 2ft cables, the dash cam is very stylish and durable. Also worth mentioning is the Zosi Client App for PC and Mac, which comes on CD. All you have to do is install and use the same options as Zosi View to login. It is very important to remember this when you turn on the DVR for the first time. Remember to leave your password BLANK when logging in. You have other options to change it and the username as you wish. Update 09/08/2017 21:45 2 days ago the dashcam restarted by itself and at the same time restarted my computer about every 12 hours. Since it was connected to my network, I assumed some curious Easterners were trying to pry around on my computer, but couldn't get past my login password prompt. I also had problems with ZosiView on my smartphone, it's all ok to download and install, This allows me to see my cameras video feed but only while I'm in the app and then when I tried to go back all my login credentials were gone and I couldn't log in again. The only way I was able to view my cameras was to uninstall the app and then reinstall it over and over again. It turned out that every time I installed the application, the antivirus (Lookout) on my smartphone detected suspicious traffic from (where else?) China and blocked my access to the website to stop suspicious network traffic. The fix yesterday was to disconnect the DVR from my network and since then neither the DVR nor my computer has restarted again. That means of course that I can no longer see my cameras on my smartphone. A small price to pay for restoring privacy.
