looks good feels good

The steering wheel on my 404 RAV is starting to fall apart. It's really noticeable on the top of the wheel, it's peeling off and it was sticky. I was getting sick so I covered it with the cheapest wheel cover I could find. After a year it started falling apart so it's time to replace it. It says here that it's faux leather or microfiber leather. I'm not sure, but I think both mean he's never been near a cow. Feels like leather which is good. I have one with little red highlights that I think looks good on my car. It's blacker than it looks on my car (the sun was shining on it). I installed 3 times. The first time the red was towards the windshield it would have worked but it flipped. I thought the little tongue was coming from the bottom but didn't quite center it on the wheel. Once it's in place it doesn't slip (which is good, you don't want that) but it does mean you can take it off and need to reattach, even if it's somewhat offline and you take care of it. It is not very easy to install, you need to pull and make an effort. They don't wrap around the wheel and cut it into a 'U', meaning there's a hole for crumbs to collect if you've eaten in the car. I believe there are some types of sleeves that you sew but this one took 10 minutes (would only have been about 4 or 5 if I hadn't got it wrong twice) while I see these sleeves take a lot longer to install . . This is a quick and easy fix for the wheel you want to cover. It's well made, don't think it will fall apart, should last as long as I have the car.
