Review on Roho Prodigy Premium Mattress Overlay: #1 Non-Powered Overlay with Exclusive Dry-Flotation Technology and Superior Performance by Elizabeth Moore

I bought this mattress a few weeks ago and have been sleeping on it since (my 'regular' mattress) --- I have no medical condition It requires special care, but I just wanted something to increase the comfort factor of my main mattress as I often wake up with a squeaky back even though my main mattress is still in good condition. I tried eggshell foam (okay, but it kept you insanely warm), thick mattress pads (same thing, plus they flattened out quickly), and a much cheaper air mattress (Drive medical), which has been great so far, but not for long ( I also have a review below published in this product). My goal was to improve the comfort of the mattress without adding a heater as I already sleep hot. I was hesitant because of the price of the item, but the first night I slept on Roho convinced me it was worth $ - in fact I bought a second one so I could cover my entire queen bed - the material that the mattress seems very strong and it's cleverly designed with snaps around each block (you get 3 smaller blocks that snap together) so you can adjust the connections in a variety of ways. I was going to hold off giving a review until I've run it for at least 1 month so I can comment on durability, but I'm impressed enough to give a review now. A small temporary downside - the mattress sections do smell like plastic but I just put them in my garden over the weekend and they took care of them pretty well. I didn't notice any plastic smell after putting it on the bed. I have read in other reviews that in many cases this mattress has changed the lives of people with various diseases, which is great. -but I would also like to add that this is a great investment if you are just looking for more comfort! Update: As of July 2015, I've been sleeping on an air mattress for 6 months and still have no leaks. There is a normal slow loss of air (as you would expect from any item filled with air) but if I top it up about once a month it's fine. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a mattress topper that offers extra comfort without the extra warmth!
