I was so embarrassed to realize I had diastasis rectus abdominis from having a baby SIX years ago. I constantly struggle with this condition and how it affects my self-esteem. I'm a size 12 but if my belly wasn't so huge I'd be a 6 or 8! So I feel like I have to order a jumbo size to get it to fit. My normal hourglass figure and this swimsuit are giving me my figure back and helping me feel stylish and confident again. It fits just as expected. The straps are pretty wide. My chest was sticking out in the pool in another swimsuit I had previously purchased which was so embarrassing! As if I wasn't confident enough! This suit offers a lot of protection but also makes me slim and attractive. At least for mom! =) I bet it looks even better on someone who doesn't have the same problems as me. You can't go wrong with this costume!
