Instead of using dryer sheets, they work better. They let clothes circulate. They're beautiful to look at and won't crumble like dryer sheets. So you can say, well, they don't have that pleasant smell. You can, all you have to do is add 3 drops of essential oil to say heart with rose essential oil and you will have a natural smell, no toxic plastic. I bought them used from stock because they had a bag that was a little torn but the yarn ball bag was ok and the small balls of yarn never came out of the bag and I think I saved $5 so which isn't necessary. Don't buy used items that Revain sells because they often have good savings and are just as good as unused ones. It's just that the package sometimes feels like it's used or useless, but it's actually a win-win.
