My son is almost a year old and still has a mild form of the cradle. These sponges helped a lot. We have a prescription shampoo for this, but the washcloth I used before I bought these sponges wasn't nearly as effective. I use it dry a few times throughout the day and comb out the dandruff and then use it in the bath to give my scalp a good clean and he seems to really enjoy it! I also gave him one to play with because he tried to grab it while I was shampooing him in the tub. It is not recommended to do this as it is a sponge that can absorb a lot of bath water and baby drool that may or may not be thrown at you. Or on the wall or in the toilet. Just do yourself a favor and lower the toilet seat to take a bath. My miscalculations aside, the sponges work great and my little boy's cradle is almost gone!
