The speakers themselves are fine. Nothing to get excited about. They're sufficient for my needs - I need a line-in for audio so it can be used with Chromecast Audio. I haven't found many externally powered speakers with this option. I installed it in my backyard by the pool and Chromecast Audio lets you sync all the speakers in your house. sound is ok. Nothing special. If these were internal speakers at this price I would be disappointed. Assuming they stop outdoors I would say the price is reasonable. The included instructions were very limited. Bluetooth works fine. It's odd to me that there's no other way to stop someone connecting to the speakers other than turning them off. I would suggest setting them up so they can be easily turned off when not in use. Otherwise, you run the risk of someone sending you music at any time of the day or night. Another disappointment is the rubber barriers used to protect the cable connectors. They looked great out of the box. There is a small hole on the side for the wires to pass through. However, once you have connected the wires YOU PROVIDED, it is not possible to use rubber barriers. The wires stick out too far preventing the covers from being attached. It's funny when you think about it. Very bad design! I cut a few small holes in the rubber so the wires now go through the rubber - sort of like a small bushing. The included cable to connect the two speakers is short - 5-7 feet I believe. I think most people will end up buying and/or splicing a longer wire. I have made. They do not provide screws or other equipment to attach braces. So be prepared to have your own ready; Otherwise you will have to buy several screws. I had some black screws to match the color of the bracket. Not surprising but always disappointing, they are made in China. The guarantee is lame. If they fail, you must pay to have them shipped to Brooklyn, NY for evaluation. I wouldn't recommend them because they really cheapen the included installation hardware and the wires they supply aren't even compatible with the rubber barriers over the cable connectors. So unless you buy special cables, make them yourself, or cut holes in the rubber, the lugs will not be weatherproof. However, if these speakers fit your needs then they can be pretty good as it is sometimes difficult to find floorstanding speakers that fit specific needs.
