We have an old 3M mini projector that we have always used and thought it would be a good upgrade (new technology, bigger etc). We are disappointed with this projector. The positives are that it has a nice design and a speaker that is way better than the speakers that come with projectors. However, we expected it to be brighter than the old projector (the specs say it should be), but it's not. The other big problem is keystone distortion. This projector has a manual keystone correction lever. This helps straighten/tilt the image by letting you know that your projector is low to the ground compared to your screen. up down. Are we misconfiguring ourselves? Do not think so. Keystone doesn't work very well. We adjusted keystone on digital keystone projectors and manually. Digital is usually much better. The manual keystone correction in this project just isn't good: the image gets blurry on top or bottom (depending on how you want it to be overlaid). You can reduce the image size in the menu options, so you might think they could have added digital keystone correction, but unfortunately they didn't, and the manual focus isn't great either. The manual focus wheel is large, but it's not that easy to turn. We had high hopes for the projector, especially since the housing looked great, but unfortunately I would classify that as normal. It might be fine for indoor projection, but unfortunately it just couldn't keep up with our old projector in our large-screen outdoor projection tests.
