Affects bass badly. I recommend using this bass in a 2.1 system. I connected it to a Fosi BT30D 2.1 channel amplifier, Bluetooth 5 ($89, 03/01/2021). The amplifier drives both passive and active subwoofers. I tuned the bass just after 9pm, volume 1/4, and it fills my office with lots of bass (10'x14'). I've watched a few movies after work and a week on Pandora radio with great satisfaction. There is no noticeable difference in sound quality when using BT or RCA. I use Jamo s801. I also have the s803 but don't need it for the bedroom office. Save them for more space. For a small entertainment center in the living room, the bass is quite suitable. I do voice acting for work and this setup is fine for that. I connect my Roku Ultra to my Roku Android app on my phone and use Bluetooth for the Fosi amp and sound system. Works perfectly! I have a 15" Klipsch subwoofer in my living room and a reference surround system and I don't need a 15" subwoofer. I'm considering selling it and going with a 10" Jamo subwoofer. My living room is less than 20 feet in the longest direction.
