Nice but Apple mouse doesn't work on it

I've had this for a little while. I quickly realized that my Apple magic mouse does not like this pad. I don't know if it's the material, static, etc, but the mouse will instantly slow down, stop, and act like it's broken. As soon as I move it to the bare desk surface again, it works perfectly fine. So, while I like this pad, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others. It's pretty, although the printing isn't super sharp. In all honesty, I probably should have returned it.
