If you've ever tried to pull out a splinter or remove a piece of glass with cheap tweezers and injured yourself grabbing it, here's the answer! While working on a house remodel I received a lot of splinters from old 2x4s, lost my old pair and ordered these. Wow what a difference! Shards are much easier to grab as they easily grab and hold the tip, and because they have sharp edges you don't have to dig too much to pull them out. They pluck amazing eyebrows (my girlfriend already got away with that one set). They are VERY accurate and very well built, they don't flex and they grip so perfectly and evenly that you don't have to use as much force as other cheaper models. I love that there are several different tools to choose from depending on what you're working on. However, there's a disclaimer here: the edges are nice and sharp, making it easy to pinpoint splinters or loose hair. However, I used a set of these to remove a tick from a neighbor's dog and ended up cutting the tick almost in half. Just be aware that you can injure or decapitate the tick because they are a bit sharp if you are not careful how hard you squeeze them.
