Not great for a 17 inch tall toilet
Pros: the pee guard is a good height. The material is substantial. Overall I think this has the potential to be a great potty chair for a toilet that is not as tall.Cons: Because our toilet is 17inches tall it makes the ladder portion too close to the toilet & too upright. This causes it to not feel sturdy, slips easily, and doesn’t provide adequate room for my toddler to turn himself around to sit on the potty. After I placed him on the potty seat myself when he tried to get off by stepping down it caused it to be too forward heavy which resulted in slippage & overall wasn’t safe for my little one.
- Safe: The Anti-Slip Pads Ladder can make the kids feel so much safer.
- Can be difficult for children with shorter legs
