First of all I LOVE this scent. But I don't think it's a good air freshener in the car. I took off the plastic cover and hung it in my car. For a few days or even a week the smell was too strong. Then there was a period of a few days, maybe a week when it was almost right, but the smell changed a bit and it wasn't quite the same. Maybe it was the Florida heat. In any case, now, just a few weeks after being exposed, it barely smells like a car and will need to be replaced soon. For the money it should last longer and not have such an inconsistent aromatic life. Although I'm not one to give up easily and I have a few left, next time I'll try hanging it with a plastic sleeve, just a slot. Maybe that works better. In any case. I really like the smell but not the effect.
