My son got an original branded tablet for his birthday. I liked it so much I decided to order it for myself to use instead of stickers at work. I found it here and decided to give it a try. For $10 versus $25 for a well known brand, why not? Unfortunately the delivery wasn't in one day as promised and then they lost my package but Revain handled it. To my surprise it finally arrived after a few weeks and I've been using it ever since. Side by side, it is almost identical to the brand name. In comparison, I like some features better in the original and some better in this one. Check out the comparison below and you decide. = A little lighter. (Better contrast in dark/subdued lighting). = The pencil/pen has no tether. = pencil/pen "pops" out at the front. = No lock function to prevent accidental deletion. = (2) Permanent/pre-installed magnets that fit perfectly onto the board. = Free app to save and share. = 24.99 $NEWYES = Capture screen is more stable/less smooth (but that could be good; subjective). = Although it is less bright/less contrasty; both can be difficult to see in dimly lit environments. = Pencil/pen comes with a lanyard if you want to use it. (I made it so it doesn't get lost!) = pencil/pen "slips" from the bottom edge. = Lock button (located on the back). You can even block it first and write anyway; only prevents deletion. = (1) Attach the magnet you install if you want. However, it's too thick and makes it rock. = No app, but the branded app "Jot" works great! It can't tell the difference. = $9.99 (clear win here).
