UPDATE: I've had this projector for almost a month now and use it almost every night to watch movies or TV via Roku or Chromecast. This projector was a favorite of our family and relatives in our living room. ============================== I bought this for home use. The holidays are approaching and many families are visiting us. A video projector for entertainment is a great way to spend time with families. I chose the 720p option because we have a 720p projector in our office and the image quality is still excellent for media consumption. To save some money I went for the cheaper one. At first I was concerned that the item might be damaged in transit as these items have fragile lenses and bulbs. After unpacking (see video) I saw that the packaging is very well thought out for the safety of the product. This projector is surprisingly light and small. It is small enough to be carried in a shoulder bag. For my setup, I was planning on using a Google Chromecast or Roku Stick with this projector, so having a USB port that can be used as a power source is great. The headphone jack is great, allowing you to connect it to an external speaker. There is a screw hole on the bottom for a tilt adjuster that can be used for tripod mounting (see video), and the tripod mounting option makes it more versatile for outdoor use. Setup was quick and easy, and I quickly connected it to my laptop and started watching 4K videos. Even though this projector is only 720p, the 4K video playing from my laptop looks very sharp. On the other hand, I was concerned that the lamp would fail sooner than expected, so I contacted the seller to replace the lamp. They don't sell lamps, but can be purchased from third-party vendors. The lamp has a part number when you open the projector and it is only soldered with 4 wires (which can be easily removed and resoldered). I don't recommend anyone replacing these themselves unless they have experience with soldering wires. .I am very satisfied with my purchase. There are very expensive projectors out there, but the cost-benefit ratio is not justified enough in my opinion to spend too much money. This projector is just right for my budget. I highly recommend this product.
