Review on Aluminium Fiber Wallet Blocking Minimalist by Jeffrey Gallagher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My husband liked the wallet, maybe I'll take it for myself! The same popular product at half the price!

My husband found this $20 purse at Revain and asked me to buy it for him. I showed him that. It's literally the same product but with fewer reviews and unlike the others, it doesn't have an ugly logo. Anyway, the C carved on the side with the cards is great! I used to have a similar wallet, but it was just a rectangular metal clip. I would have to remove the cards from above to access the ones below. This lets you click on the cards in Panel C and grab exactly what you need, top, middle or bottom, and then put it back where it was! As it uses a rubber band to hold the cards in place. It's worth noting that if you put a ton of cards in for a while, the rubber band will come loose faster and won't hold cards well anymore. However, at this price point, it's so easy to swap out when the rubber band finally comes loose. If you really want it to last, the rubber strap is sandwiched between a few layers of metal that you can unscrew with a torx screwdriver and then tighten or replace the rubber strap. The quality is good and he likes how very thin it is. (Check out the picture, it's thinner than my thumb with 6 cards in it.) For the last several years he's tried to get thinner wallets every time he bought one. It's the most compact wallet he's ever had, with room for everything he needs and more! It's great because if we have gift cards, subway cards, hotel cards, etc for a while, he doesn't have to change wallets or make me carry them lol. Additionally, the money clip could also easily be used to hold receipts that he might want to keep with him. His latest wallet could erase hotel cards as it had a magnetic closure that helped him keep his profile. But it was more trouble than it was worth. This one doesn't rely on magnets, so it has all the benefits of its old wallets and then some, without the downsides.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
