So the night we brought them home, my husband bought a small honeycomb bed for our two orphans. They were only three weeks old. connected couple of brother and sister whores. They immediately jumped into this little bed and slept in it for many days, and they both felt [un]comfortable. it was her little security blanket of a safe space. We bought two more beds. similar, larger, room to grow, etc. hoping to replicate that first favorite bed. no bone. They pressed on into this first small cavity, barely 7 inches in diameter. and then.! I found this price! It's literally perfect for my little loving kitties. sometimes they sleep in the cave. sometimes they pounce on her until she collapses and then snuggle up to dd, sometimes they fight over it, pushing each other out until only one kitten is sleeping and the other is sadly curled up outside the "door". ha ha. I've added some photos of the kittens in their first little bed and a brand new photo of them snuggling up in their new bed. its soft and plush solid quality seems capable of withstanding a respectable kitten tug of war. for reference - my kids are now five months old, little brother is just under 8lbs, little sister is exactly 5lbs.
