I was a bit concerned about this because of the bad reviews others had given, but I made sure I bought what I needed for my trip to England (UK) and I had no problems. Some people have mentioned that it takes a long time to charge, but the time it took to charge didn't bother me. It's not super fast, but my iPhone 8 Plus was over 50% after an hour of charging. Unless you're looking for a miracle, this is the perfect charger for your trip to the UK. Be sure to buy an INTERNATIONAL charger. Mine is grey, if that matters.
