Review on Yellow Jacket 69087 Replacement Vacuum by Erik Snyder

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Unusable, does not hold the vacuum after isolating from.

Edit: After soaking in electrical contact cleaner, the sensor became much more accurate. Still seems to be slow to lick when isolated from himself. Maybe I'm expecting a lot from these rubber seals/ball valves. Seems insignificant, although I once hooked up a large system as I managed to get by with 500 microns. Still three stars, because the original sensor is heavily glued when plugged in. Essentially, you need to break the old. Be careful. Useless, won't hold vacuum if isolated from fitting and itself. Tested with colleagues on the same setup, it holds up. For a few days it failed even more and didn't pull up to the exact microns. Checked it out again with a colleague, a known worker. I also redid the teflon and blocked the fitting, that didn't help. Several people I work with have this model, some work, some don't. I understand that the oil in the sensor can cause problems, but since they are relatively new I don't think this is a problem. Looks like a quality control issue.
