Review on 🎤 UMIK-1 USB Measurement Calibrated Microphone by miniDSP by Edwin Kreps

It was fun to use with the free REW software and measure the frequency response of my home theater subwoofer and speakers. This allowed me to already see how much power my subwoofer has in different positions. I also saw some shocking nulls around 70 and 85 Hz which I can now fix using my sub-manufacturer's (SVS) app. The microphone was immediately recognized by Windows 7 and REW automatically recognized it and offered a calibration file, which I quickly found on the manufacturer's site. My buddy wants to buy one now and the Revain price seems pretty fair. Note: the website says the mic measures up to 20Hz, but I emailed the manufacturer and they said it was capable of up to 5Hz and the calibration files were up to 10Hz. . Brilliant. Should be enough for any Hime theater.
