I needed a full length 1 3/4 belt to go around the entire belt loop and keep my pants from rolling over the top of the belt. It is a heavy matte black very clean belt. For a taller man, this is probably what you're looking for. It also supports and distributes the weight of the Ruger .45 ACP on my waist without pulling the strap down, which isn't really possible with a smaller strap. I would definitely do it again.
