This tent honestly exceeded my expectations for the price. Two weekends ago my 9 year old son and I took him hiking in the Smoky Mountains. This tent sleeps 3 people but remember that a 3 person tent means just that. 3 people and no more. It was perfect for both of us and left room for our hiking backpacks and other gear. The tent seems very well made and I appreciate all the little details of the windows and two doors and the pockets next to each door for small flashlights, a wallet etc. There are also plastic pieces and windows on the doors to tie. them for ventilation. It didn't rain when we camped, but I think this tent will hold up fine as long as it's not raining heavily. I always take extra precautions and spray sealant on every tent I use. I also use a ground cover for extra moisture protection. I highly recommend this tent for 3 season camping!
