I'm a big fan of Neogen products and haven't used them yet which I didn't like. so of course i wanted to try it. It doesn't have aqua mesh, but it's better than a Mac fixative spray in my opinion. I haven't tried many of the others because most of them seem very similar and they will never have the power of aerosol hairspray. This product and other similar products in stores like Sephora are great for everyday, regular use in my opinion. This prevents excessive drying of the skin and keeps things in place until you get home and clean your face. if you need a mega hold, I think hairspray is still the best! I've only used it on days when I'm doing my friends makeup for their weddings and when longevity and staying power are important for photos. Also, I'm usually good with these mists for everyday use and I like this one more than the stuff sold by western brands because it's cheaper at similar quality and more sensitive overall. great product, I recommend!
