My wife has, conservatively, 300 belts. Wide, narrow, leather, cloth, metal, whatever, an array of colors and styles. She liked the look of this one for some reason, felt she needed another belt, and here we are. The leather part is nicely finished. She was on the boundary between medium and large and she got a medium. It fits her great, but she thinks it would be loose on someone much skinnier, and it is so stretchy that it could easily fit someone much larger, so I guess if in doubt order a size down.
