Review on πŸ‘– Girls' Stretch Comfort Footless Leggings in Cotton Blend - Clothing and Leggings by Garrick Prince

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good substitute for Carter but runs small!

I ordered these in red to match my Christmas dress and superhero costume for my tall thin almost 4 year old. I would order them again anytime I needed a specific color. Some comparisons to Carter brand leggings are below. ADVANTAGES: Red color is suitable for such occasions. It's a bold red, but not nasty or orange. Perfect for Christmas or superhero costume. The fabric is very soft. Softer than Carter's. The size I bought was perfect for my tall skinny 4 year old girl who doesn't like tight dresses that put pressure on her. about the same level of light transmission as the Carters when I stretch them onto my hand. The waistband is wider than the Carter toddler leggings and about the same size as the waistband of the Carter girls leggings. See image for comparison with Carter's Girls Navy Blue 4/5 Leggings. CONS (or rather, what you need to know): - Size: you should increase the size. I have attached a picture of Carter's Girls size 4/5 in navy overlaying the small size (6-8) of these red leggings, photos attached. As you can see, they are almost the same size. Fabric: This brand's fabric feels softer than Carter's. However, I think it's the mix of fabrics. These leggings are made of cotton and spandex while Carter leggings are made of cotton and elastin. I find that the elastin makes the Carter fabric more durable and creates a tighter weave so they aren't as soft. Bottom line: this is a great substitute for your usual branding when you need a specific color. Just be sure to buy more than you think you should.
