I bought these in black and gold for my birthday. I wasn't sure about the thickness and if they would be thin and transparent. To my surprise they were excellent quality, thick and durable. I've used them on dining tables and they soaked up spilled food by wiping with a cloth and rubbing dishes. I also bought a cloth tablecloth in case it was cheap. I didn't have to use fabric because this plastic was much better because of the gold star decor, no cleanup and no ironing. (The fabric is badly wrinkled)
