A kitchen item you didn't know you needed.

I saw this shelf at a friend's and I really liked it. I decided to order and I liked it even more. In fact a lot more, I bought 3 of them. You will find it very convenient to be able to hover over the sink. Items that need to be dried and items that are too big to go in the dishwasher. The second one I bought is handy as I can stack it on top of the first to use as a giant greens purge colander. I also use it as a cutting board handle. My cutting board had these pads to keep it from sliding on the table. Eventually they all broke up. Glue just held them in place. I didn't like putting the cutting board on the table. When wet it kept moisture between them and was able to move while I cut. I just didn't like it. Now I place the board on the stand and the stand grips the board in place. Also, there's still room on the shelf for items I'm going to cut and don't want to roll around. Another great feature of the rack is its flexibility. I can roll it up or fold it up to take up half of my sink space and still use it partially. This really is a kitchen tool you never knew you needed. The only thing I haven't tried is to see if it can handle a casserole that just came out of the oven at 450F. I don't know if that heat would do any harm. If you decide to purchase this shelf, I think you'll find that this is one of those kitchen tools you just can't be without.
