We were looking for an all-in-one nutrition and eating habits solution that would address the need for plenty of water, healthy ingredients, and a supplement to prescribed dryness to the kidneys. Food. After trying over 20 different canned wet foods, this (Monterey Medley) was the only one our cats ate wholeheartedly. Flowing water fountain, prescribed kidney kibble and Earthborn Monterey Medley seem to meet our cats needs very well. Fountain (about $40), Kidney Dry Food, and Monterey Medley Wet Mix provided the results we were looking for: increased water intake, holistic ingredients, increased energy, decreased susceptibility to kidney failure (which leads to dehydration and vice versa). Our cats' vital signs have improved, lab tests have returned to normal, and our 11-year-old cats are now two-year-old kittens at showering and activity levels. In addition, we make sure their weight remains appropriate, around 8 pounds for the breed they belong to, and we play with them on a daily basis. We also use an automatic dry food dispenser, change the water frequency and only feed Monterey Medley 2 times a day (supplemented with dry diet food). Much luck. We hope that our four-legged children live 20 happy, active and healthy years!
