Review on πŸ”„ Silkn Infinity Cartridge with Permanent Lifetime Performance by Christine Zuniga

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Takes some time, but it's worth it!

So my Silk'n Infinity Review is approaching my third session (6 weeks). There seems to be a long wait between treatments so be prepared. I am a woman with dark skin and black hair. I would say my usual hair removal routine before Silk'n was average. I was a bit confused as to who could use it. I feel like there has been some conflicting information that you can't use this at all if you have dark or tan skin, or if you're blonde with blonde hair. I have dark skin with dark coarse hair. I'm not sure how big the difference is, I'm sure everyone's situation is different. I tried anyway. The first areas I wanted to try were my chin and armpits. I have 10-15 small stubborn thick hairs on my chin that I pluck every 4-5 days. After scrolling through the instructions and watching videos and reviews on YouTube (there is a lot of information about this), I decided to download the application. I highly recommend using this with an app if you can. It has an easy-to-follow schedule as well as setup recommendations. More on the Silk'n app later. So I was very concerned about the need for you to shave the areas to be treated before using Silk'n. If you've shaved before, you know that hair usually grows back coarser and seemingly faster. I usually shave my armpits, it's a weekly thing. But my chin, I have to admit, annoyed me. Anyway, after I got over it, I shaved my chin and armpits. After the surfaces were cleaned and dried, I connected Silk'n and opened the app. You now have a home page, schedule, products, instructions, and settings. The "how to" contains the pdf manual that came with the device (instructions in English on page 48 - welcome) and a link to a video about the device. When you're ready, select your treatment areas in the app and you'll be given a schedule. Obviously, Silk'n Infinity needs to have Bluetooth functionality to connect to your phone, but I've tried multiple times to no avail, which makes me wonder what I'm missing. πŸ˜’πŸ˜πŸ‘Ž. Another issue I have with the app is that it doesn't send notifications to your phone to remind you when you're in treatment. Definitely back to treatment. The app advised me to try the 1st setting which is the lowest. At my 3rd, 6th week of treatment I'm at level 3 so it seems to be going up with each treatment. The most disconcerting thing to get used to using (besides shaving your face) is that the flash is pretty bright and makes a sound that I would equate to an old retro camera with a lightbulb. πŸ“Έ. But once you get used to it, he's fine. The feeling is warm and pleasant, I noticed that as the intensity increased, there was more of a slight tingling sensation. But there were no burns or pain. At first I didn't think it couldn't work and I would have a beard that I would shave forever. But after a few weeks and treatments I noticed that the hair grows back thinner and slower. I still pluck my chin between treatments, but only once a week, not every 4 days like I used to. My armpits have also slowed down, I don't even shave them between treatments and wait to shave them before my procedure. I think it works great, if you have the patience it will pay off in the long run. I gave this one a 4 because they need to fix a few issues in the app and it's not entirely clear who can use this product. Otherwise it's great and works. The procedures are very quick, you can complete the treatment of each area in less than 5 minutes. Provided the areas are already clean, shaved and dry. I look forward to new treatments and further results.
