ASUS should be bought in bulk and included with these routers. Thing works great at my temp, we're 78-82 C all the time, after installation and only one working fan they barely audibly dropped to 58 C! A 20 C temperature drop is great and will definitely extend the life of your router. Great product, one of the few that does exactly what it says on the tin, I would recommend buying it to anyone who has a GT-AC 2900. I can't speak for other versions but I'm willing to bet they're just as good .I removed the filter, really didn't see the point, it would just restrict airflow.Not enough dust to use it.If it gets dusty just blow it out.
