I had Nest cameras at home and wanted to avoid the worst case scenario of actually catching the robber/rapist/murderer (whatever) on camera, but the evidence became thrown out of court for forgetting to put up signs that specifically mention AUDIO (because I live in one of the states that require it). Also, it would be fair to mention this beforehand (in mind of my guests). That's why I didn't go for the softer "smile: you're in the frame" handwritten caption. Of the signs that specifically mention sound, I wanted one with a picture of a camera. Not everyone can read and not everyone can read English, but most of us recognize the image of the security camera. This version is easy to see, read, and understand, and is less visually jarring as it has no red bars. I'm assuming burglars are looking for signs anyway, and I wanted the least visually gruesome look (which is still easy to read). This one fits exactly and 2 of my 3 outside signs are these.
