After reading all the reviews I decided to give this bedspread a try. First, the reviews are correct. This item runs small. Be sure to measure your bed and check the dimensions of your duvet. I ordered a king bed for a queen bed that sits on a platform with drawers. I didn't want it hanging on the floor because that would restrict access to the drawers. The duvet overhangs just enough to cover the linens but not the drawers. Perfect for my needs. The colors are beige, brown and sea foam on an ivory background. Again perfect for what I wanted. If you're looking for shades of gray, this isn't for you. There is a chemical smell. It's not very strong, but it's there. I haven't washed it yet but I think the smell will go away. Overall I'm very happy with this product so far, but it's not for everyone.
