I love the color of this belt and the flexible elastic back. I don't like the cheap patent leather faceplate that never sits flat. Wearing this really makes a statement rather than adding color and emphasizing my waist. (That might be what you're looking for, but not for me! In any case, when I wear it, the part that goes through the buckle sticks out instead of sitting flat, which is just more annoying. I've tried attaching it with a piece of tape but it wasn't strong enough to last all day and I was too busy working to notice when it popped out again I don't want to use a safety pin, the marks on the plastic leaves, so I think it's time to ditch that belt and look for a simple elastic with an invisible (or as good as invisible) closure as possible.
