I ordered a 26 inch wig. The wig tapers so that it is probably 24 inches in the front and gradually increases to 26 inches in the back. They're not choppy layers, you hardly notice. The wig was very DRY when I took it out of the bag, the hair was just begging for a wash and condition. I immediately thought it couldn't be just human hair judging by the dryness alone, but after washing and styling I can confirm that the hair is not synthetic. I washed the wig because you always have to wash your wigs, but also because the wig has a very unpleasant smell from dusty processing and I have a hard time getting rid of this smell. - this could be a deal breaker for me and I may have to return it - it also sheds a lot and knots badly when wet. All in all for what you pay the wig is ok I think. The smell is the worst part. Also there is no lace on this wig and it is all sewn into a cheap wig net so no ponytails or anything fancy as the markings will be visible!
