Great quality. Nice thick fabric. Sharp folds. Heavy duty belt and zip closure. Decent weight for cold weather but not too heavy for summer. There is also an adjustable elastic in the back waist to make it a little tighter if needed even on larger sizes. The photo shows that the folds are not sewn, which means that there is enough space with wide hips. It is as long as advertised and sits just below the knee on me (5ft 4in). Most pleated skirts are either micro long or too long. where I expected it to be. I deducted a star because the measurements are slightly different from the size chart. I was concerned after reading the reviews that it turned out to be large and ordered a 14 (waist 28 inches). It measured exactly 28" and was too small for my 32" waist. Then I ordered 16 (waist 30 inches) and 18 (waist 32 inches). The 16 actually measured 32 inches and the 18 actually measured 34 inches. Size 16 fit me perfectly, size 18 was a bit big but easy to fix by adjusting the elastic. I decided to keep both as I liked having some room on the 18th to tuck a thick sweater in. Hope this helps someone else make the right choice!
